But it would seem Kimberley Walsh was saving the best until last as she took to the stage during the grand finale of the BBC One show on Saturday night.
The Girls Aloud singer's sexy and sassy routine to Crazy In Love will have no doubt left Beyoncé quaking in her boots as she shimmied her way across the dancefloor.

Putting on a stunning display, the 30-year-old star and her professional partner Pasha Kovalev performed a series of daring lifts before Kimberley did her best Beyoncé impression with an eye-popping booty-shake.
Kimberley began her routine wearing a slinky black catsuit with a sexy plunging neckline as she strutted her stuff in a bid for success.
But after disappearing behind a white backdrop that showed only her incredible silhouette, the sassy star stripped off to parade her showstopping curves in all their glory in a barely-there fuchsia sequin minidress.

And the judging panel, Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell, seemed positively astounded with Kimberley's 'indecent, improper and absolutely filthy' routine.
Darcey gushed: 'You certainly burned up that dance floor, that was wild. It was spicy it was hot, it was stunning. You were very graceful. Sometimes it was wild, but I actually loved it like that
Len wowed: 'It was Kimberley's greatest hits; it had impact, speed, flair. You were like a phoenix.'

Famously acid-tongued judge Craig couldn't seem to hide his amazement as the singer unleashed her seductive side.
He exclaimed: 'Indecent, improper... absolute filth, darling.'
Earlier in the evening, the star had put on a very different display, receiving unanimous praise for the 'grace, skill and timeless elegance' with which she executed her Viennese waltz to Christina Perri's A Thousand Years.

Darcey added: 'You are a true actress, the feeling you give is incredible. You're graceful and you glide across the dancefloor.'
Len explained he 'loved' the performance, while Bruno said: 'Beautiful and shining like a diamond. It had everything a Viennese Waltz should have; grace skill and timeless elegance. Perfection.'
Scoring a total of 78 out of a possible 80 points, Kimberley landed behind Denise and Louis on the leaderboard and ahead of Dani.
